Shoebox Plus Organizer

Your Ancestry Shoebox, finally searchable. Search, sort, and filter thousands of saved genealogy records in your Ancestry Shoebox in seconds — right inside Ancestry.com, on all 11 international sites — for a one-time $25 (less than one month of even Ancestry's own entry-level plan). Your Problem If you've saved hundreds or thousands of family history records to your Shoebox, you already know: it's one long, unsearchable scroll. No search box. No sort. No way to filter census records from newspaper clippings. Your Solution Shoebox Plus Organizer fixes that — directly inside Ancestry, with nothing exported and nothing sent anywhere else. ✅ Instant search — Find any record by name, date, or place as you type, across your entire Ancestry Shoebox, not just the current page. ✅ Sort — Order genealogical records by date added, record name, or person name. ✅ Filter by type — Isolate Census, Birth, Death, Marriage, Military, Immigration, Land, Newspaper, Directory, Education, Church/Religion records, and more, in one click. ✅ Load every page at once — Ancestry shows 25 records per page. Shoebox Plus loads them all in the background so search and filters work across your entire collection. ✅ Instant reloads — Your Shoebox is cached on-device, so reopening it later is instant. ✅ Works everywhere you research — All 11 international Ancestry sites, UI auto-adapts to English, German, French, Swedish, Spanish, and Italian. Your Data Never Leaves Your Browser Shoebox Plus runs 100% on-device. No remote servers, no external analytics, no data transfer — ever. Built on Manifest V3 with minimal permissions, touching only the Shoebox page you're already viewing. Pricing One payment of $25 unlocks every feature, forever. No subscription, no recurring charge — pay once, own it for life. Backed by a no-questions-asked 14-day refund. Security Chrome sometimes shows a "not trusted by Enhanced Safe Browsing" notice for newer developer accounts — roughly 1 in 4 Chrome Web Store extensions show it, and it isn't a sign that anything is wrong. We hold Google's Established Publisher Badge, meaning Google has verified our identity and confirmed a consistent record of policy compliance. It's safe to continue installing. Built for Serious Genealogists and Serious Genealogy Whether your genealogy journey has you chasing a single ancestor or managing a Shoebox with 3,000+ saved census, immigration, and church records, Shoebox Plus Organizer transforms Ancestry's static list into a family history research tool.
