SHNS HostShield

HostShield: The Ultimate Co-Hosting Defense Network for Vacation Rental Hosts As a property host, your calendar is your biggest asset, but it also carries risk. How do you protect yourself from guests who break house rules, throw unauthorized parties, or damage furniture, before they even book? HostShield is a powerful, community-driven Chrome Extension built by hosts, for hosts. It seamlessly integrates directly into your existing messaging dashboard, providing you with real-time, crowd-sourced background checks on your guests so you can approve stays with complete confidence. 🌟 Key Features Instant Guest Reputation Badges A non-intrusive, color-coded shield badge appears directly next to your guest's profile picture inside your messaging threads. Instantly know if you are talking to a 5-star guest (Green) or a flagged risk (Red) without ever leaving the page. Detailed Incident History Click the shield badge to instantly open a beautiful UI that displays past incident reports, average star ratings, and detailed comments left by other verified hosts in the HostShield network. Smart Context Auto-Detection HostShield’s smart engine automatically reads your current dashboard to detect whether the guest is in an Inquiry, Upcoming, Staying, or Checkout state, saving you time when filing a report. Report Bad Actors in Seconds Did a guest break a house rule, arrive with an unauthorized pet, or refuse to leave on time? File a detailed, category-based report (with checkboxes for common violations) in seconds to warn the rest of the host community.
