The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Shelf
Shelf is a local-first Chrome extension for capturing, organizing, and preserving visual inspiration from the web.
Save visible-page or full-page screenshots, selected areas, individual page elements, and text quotes in your own private inspiration library. Shelf automatically captures useful website details—including the page description, colors, and font families—while keeping every field editable. Organize references with titles, descriptions, source URLs, tags, categories, and collections, then browse everything in a clean, minimal grid.
Your library is stored locally in the browser using IndexedDB. You can also choose a folder on your computer to save captures as PNG images with accompanying JSON metadata, keeping your inspiration archive under your control.
Features:
Capture the visible part of a webpage
Capture and stitch an entire scrolling webpage
Select and capture a custom area
