About SheetPilot: Save & Extract to Google Sheets™

**You found something worth keeping, and the only way to keep it is to copy, switch windows, paste, fix the columns, and go back for the next one.** SheetPilot removes that loop. One click on the side panel and the page arrives in your own Google Sheets™ spreadsheet as a proper row — with the columns already named. **Why install it** Because the tab you are looking at is data, and the place you actually keep data is Google Sheets. Everything between those two facts is busywork. SheetPilot does the reading, the naming and the writing, and then it remembers the page well enough to do it again for nothing. **What you can do** ✨ **One click, and the AI does the deciding.** Hit Extract and the assistant reads the page, works out whether it is one item or a whole list, invents sensible column names in your interface language and shows you a preview. Rename any column, untick any row, then send it to Google Sheets. ♻️ **It learns a layout once, then repeats it for free.** The first capture on a site teaches the extension where each value lives. That recipe is saved and replayed locally on every later visit, so the same page never costs credits twice. 🖱️ **Your own right-click menu.** Build menu items that match how you work — save the selected text to the Notes column, the link under the cursor to Link, the image to Image. One click on the page, one value in the column, no panel needed. 🧩 **A visual canvas for repeat jobs.** Drag blocks onto a canvas and wire them up: take the page, pull out the links, drop duplicates, trim the text, split a field, stamp a fixed value, write the result to Google Sheets. Runs entirely on your machine, costs nothing, and can be bound to a keyboard shortcut. 📊 **Tables lifted whole.** Spot a table on the page and append it as rows instead of fighting copy and paste. Existing headers in your Google Sheets tab are matched by name, and columns that do not line up are reported rather than dumped into the wrong place. 🔐 **Rows go straight to Google Sheets, never through us.** Once you connect your Google account, the extension writes to Google Sheets directly from your browser. It asks Google for one permission — writing to your spreadsheets — and nothing more: no file listing, no Drive browsing, no copy of your data on our side. 🌍 **13 interface languages.** The panel, the menus and the column names the AI writes all follow your chosen interface language, so the header row in Google Sheets comes out in the language you actually work in. **Private by design** Your rows go from the browser to your own Google Sheets file. Nothing about them is stored, sold or shared. What does reach our server is limited and stated plainly: the text of a page at the moment you ask for an AI extraction — used for that one request, kept only long enough to answer it — and your account email, because the plan and the credit balance have to belong to somebody. A recipe is a set of selectors, not content: it records *where* a title sits on a page, never what the title said. Sign-in to your Google account happens in the browser and the token is never sent to us. **Great for** Anyone who keeps a research list, a job hunt, a price watch, a lead list or a reading queue in Google Sheets. Recruiters and job seekers building a pipeline. Analysts collecting listings. Students assembling a bibliography. Anyone who has ever kept a tab open purely because closing it would lose the link. **Getting started** Install, open the side panel (Alt+Shift+S), sign in, connect Google Sheets, and point it at a page. New accounts get 30 credits; recipes and automations run on your device and never cost credits, so most days you spend nothing at all.
