Shadow Cursor

Shadow Cursor is a second cursor that trails your real one. Summon it over any element — a button, a form, a chart, a confusing bit of UI — and it looks at exactly what you're pointing at and answers in a small panel that opens right there. When its answer refers to something on the page, it draws a ring or a highlight over it, so you always know exactly what "it" means. WHAT IT'S FOR Critic — quick, honest feedback on whatever you're looking at: a design you're building, a competitor's page, your own product. Point at a button and ask if the copy is clear, or say nothing and press Enter for its default read on what you're pointing at. Tutor — plain-language explanations of what something is and how it works. Good for unfamiliar tools, dense dashboards, or "why does this page work this way." HOW IT SEES THE PAGE Shadow Cursor reads the DOM elements near your cursor — tags, roles, text, computed styles, position — and captures a screenshot of that region. Both go to the model together, so it answers based on what's actually rendered, not just raw HTML. PRIVACY Nothing is sent anywhere until you summon Shadow Cursor and ask something. Your Anthropic API key is stored in this browser only (chrome.storage.local) and is never synced or sent anywhere but Anthropic's API. There is no server in between, no analytics, and no tracking.
