SEO Institute GSC Links Analyzer is a Chrome side panel extension for checking backlinks and analyzing Google Search Console (GSC) Links reports. It combines live webpage inspection with imported GSC data, helping website owners determine which known source pages still link to their websites, identify actual target URLs and anchor text, and track when links are found, disappear, or reappear. 【KEY FEATURES】 1. Inspect the Current Page • Check whether the current page links to a specified GSC property • Choose between Domain Match and Exact GSC Property Match • Display actual target URLs, anchor text, and link occurrence counts • Record the first inspection, latest inspection, first discovery, latest discovery, and disappearance time • Maintain a timeline of link changes for every inspected page • Display both the original URL and final URL when a page is redirected 2. Import and Analyze GSC Links Reports The extension supports CSV files exported from the Google Search Console Links report, including: • Top linked pages • Top linking sites • Top linking text • Latest links • More sample links The extension automatically identifies the report type, merges duplicate data, and provides: • Overview • Referring domain analysis • Target page analysis • Anchor text analysis • GSC link samples • Live page inspection results • Historical data comparison 3. Verify GSC Link Samples When the user starts a check and grants the required website access, the extension can inspect GSC sample source pages individually to determine: • Whether the source page still exists • Whether the backlink to the selected GSC property still exists • The actual link target URL • The anchor text • The number of matching outbound links on the page • The inspection date and time A progress bar is displayed during batch inspections. Status indicators and symbols make it easy to identify the current source page and backlink status. 4. Integrate Page Inspections with GSC Data When a current-page inspection is related to an imported GSC property, its results are included in the same GSC analysis and inspection history. You can still inspect and save the current page even if no GSC CSV report has been imported. 5. Complete Inspection History • Group page inspection history by GSC property • Expand or collapse each property group • Track when links are found, disappear, or reappear • Delete a single inspection, all inspections for one page, all inspections for a selected GSC property, or the entire page inspection history 6. Import, Export, and Backup You can export: • The current GSC analysis report • Page inspection history • All GSC data and inspection history A complete JSON backup can be imported after updating or reinstalling the extension. Duplicate records are detected automatically during import. 【PRIVACY AND DATA HANDLING】 • All imported data, analysis results, and inspection history are stored locally on the user’s device • No Google Account login is required • The extension does not use the Google Search Console API • GSC reports and browsing data are not sent to the developer’s servers • The extension contains no advertising, analytics tracking, or cross-site user tracking • The extension connects directly to source websites only when the user explicitly starts an inspection and grants the required access Please note: Google Search Console provides Google’s known link data and link samples.
