SEO Institute CrawlGraph Tool is a Chrome extension that helps SEO professionals, website administrators, and content marketers quickly research a website’s referring domains. While browsing any website, simply open the extension to automatically detect the domain in the current tab. The extension uses the CrawlGraph API to retrieve: • Total number of referring domains • Top 10 source domains ranked by CG Authority • Authority, global rank, and observed host count for each source domain • Common Crawl data release used for the query • Remaining monthly API quota The extension saves recent query history, making it easier to compare different websites or track data for the same website over time. Query history can be exported as a CSV summary or as complete JSON data. Users can also delete individual records or clear the entire history. To avoid repeatedly consuming the limited CrawlGraph API quota, results are cached by domain and Common Crawl data release. When the same domain is queried again using the same data release, the extension can load the previously saved result. Why install this extension? • Research referring domains directly while browsing a competitor’s website, without manually copying the domain or preparing API requests. • Quickly assess the scale of a website’s external links for off-page SEO and competitor research. • Automatically save query history for later comparison, organization, and export. • Reduce unnecessary API calls through caching and make better use of the monthly quota. • Store the API key only in Chrome’s local storage. It is not sent to any website other than CrawlGraph. • Support multiple interface languages, including Chinese and English. On first launch, the extension automatically selects a language based on Chrome’s interface language. A CrawlGraph API key is required to use this extension. Query results are based on Common Crawl data processed by CrawlGraph. They are suitable for SEO research and trend comparison but should not be considered real-time or complete global backlink data.
