About Section to PDF
Save exactly the part of a web page you need as a clean PDF – not a screenshot, but real text you can select, search and copy.
HOW IT WORKS
Click the toolbar icon, choose a mode, then click an element or draw an area. Chrome's print preview opens – choose "Save as PDF" and you're done.
SEVEN MODES
• Element → A4: fit one element onto a single page (cards, charts, tables)
• Element → A4 multi-page: spread long sections (articles, exams, documentation) readably across several pages – scrollable areas and text fields are included completely, page breaks fall in sensible places
• Element → Original size: one page exactly the size of the element
• Multiple elements → A4 pages: collect several sections one below the other
• Multiple elements → Separate pages: each element on its own page in original size
• Crop area → A4 / Original size: draw a rectangle or a freehand shape
HANDY EXTRAS
• Use ↑ ↓ to grow or shrink the selection, Enter to select
• Hide: click away cookie banners, ads or comments before exporting (or Alt+click), with undo
• Light print: dark pages become light and printer-friendly
• Footer with page title, address, date and page numbers
• Paper size A4, US Letter or A3, adjustable margins and text size
• Keeps the look of the page: colors, fonts, bold/italic, code blocks, web components, dark mode
PRIVACY
No account, no tracking, no data collection. Everything happens locally in your browser. The extension only accesses the tab where you click its icon.
