The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About ScrollSnapshot
Capture complete, accurate website screenshots without manually scrolling, stitching images, or sending page content to a cloud service.
ScrollSnapshot is a private Chrome screenshot extension for anyone who needs a dependable visual record of a webpage. Capture one page, a precise region, or many pages in a batch, then annotate, watermark, organize into folders and export without leaving the browser.
WHY SCROLLSNAPSHOT?
Web pages are often taller than the screen, change while you scroll, or exceed a browser's single-image limit. ScrollSnapshot handles those cases deliberately. It reports capture scale, preserves exact page coordinates, and offers full-resolution slices when one image is not enough.
CAPTURE THE PAGE YOUR WAY
• Full page screenshot: automatically scroll and stitch the entire page
• Visible area: capture exactly what is on screen
• Region: draw a rectangle or freeform selection, enter exact coordinates, use a CSS selector or XPath, or pick an element directly from the page
• Slices: save very long pages as numbered images in a ZIP, with adjustable height or count and overlap
• Batch: capture every web tab in the current window or up to 50 pasted addresses
EDIT BEFORE YOU SAVE
• Crop, rotate, flip and straighten; zoom and pan to inspect details
• Annotate with shapes, arrows or plain lines, highlights, text, freehand pen, and numbered steps, each with style options; move and resize marks before applying
• Redact with Black out, Pixelate or Blur; choose Black out to completely cover sensitive content
• Brush around difficult edges and erase parts of unapplied redactions, with adjustable size and Undo/Redo
• Measure with rulers, a grid and draggable guides that stay out of exported images
• Add your own watermark: text, a logo, or both, in a corner or tiled, on what you save
• Place result toolbars along the bottom, left or right
• Extract the real page text from a selected region without OCR
• Pick a color from the page, or open a capture's palette to copy one of its design colors or all of them at once
EXPORT THE WAY YOU NEED
• Save as PNG, JPEG, WebP, or PDF
• Create one tall PDF or a paginated A4/Letter PDF with page breaks placed between lines of text
• Copy screenshots to the clipboard
• Keep an optional searchable, filterable, and favoritable local history
• Reassemble a Slices ZIP later
• Download a whole folder, or any selection of captures, as one ZIP
SETTINGS
Choose your capture defaults, output and retention options, and which optional tools appear. Settings is also where you can start a batch capture from the current window or up to 50 pasted addresses, find every keyboard shortcut, and leave a review, send feedback or get help.
HISTORY
Keep an optional on-device library of past captures. Search, filter by capture type, mark favorites, file captures into folders and download a folder as one ZIP, reopen or download results, delete with undo, and reassemble Slices ZIPs. Turn History off and only the newest result is retained until your next capture replaces it.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Open the webpage and click ScrollSnapshot.
2. Choose This screen, Full page, Slices, or Region. Use Settings for batch capture.
3. Capture, review, annotate, copy, or export the result. Close it and you are back on the page you captured.
PRECISE BY DESIGN
ScrollSnapshot reports the capture scale instead of silently lowering quality. When a page is too large for one browser image, Slices mode preserves full-resolution sections with overlap and a manifest of their exact page coordinates.
Optional Turbo mode uses Chrome's DevTools protocol for one-shot full-page capture and responsive-width captures for Full page and Slices. Chrome shows its own debugging banner while Turbo is active. Turning Turbo off leaves every other capture mode available.
PRIVATE AND LOCAL
ScrollSnapshot has no server, no account, and no analytics. Screenshots are processed and stored on your device, and nothing is uploaded anywhere.
WHAT'S NEW IN 1.1.0
• Folders in History: create folders, select captures and move them in (or drag them onto a folder), and download a folder or any selection as one ZIP. Captures in folders are never cleaned up automatically.
• A ⋯ menu on every capture: open, copy the link or image, download, rename, move or delete
• Your own watermark: add text, a logo, or both, and switch it on or off for a single capture
• Richer editing: text options (font, weight, alignment, background), highlight styles, and pen styles (dashed, dotted, smoothing), plus shapes, line ends and a redaction brush
• Edit marks after drawing them: resize, rotate, nudge, duplicate and restack
• Pick PDF in the popup's Format row and the capture opens ready to save as a PDF
• Turbo's viewport-width option now works for Slices as well as Full page
• Move the result toolbar to the left, right or bottom
• Crop with straighten, zoom and pan, rulers, a grid and guides
• Cut any capture into rows or columns later, and reassemble them
• Fixes: tall Turbo captures render reliably, the colour picker is isolated from the page, and popup tooltips show your real shortcuts
