About Scrollcap: Full Page Screenshot to PDF
Take a full page screenshot in one click.
Scrollcap scrolls any web page from top to bottom, captures every screen and stitches it into ONE long, seamless PDF — saved straight to your Downloads folder. No A4 page breaks slicing through your content. No copy-pasting a dozen screenshots together.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Open any web page.
2. Click the Scrollcap icon (or press Alt+Shift+P).
3. Watch the progress bar fill up — then grab your PDF from Downloads.
WHY YOU'LL LIKE IT
- One continuous page — the entire article, dashboard, receipt or landing page in a single PDF.
- Sharp at full resolution — zoom in and the text stays crisp.
- Live progress bar — a row of little squares at the top of the page shows how many screens are left to capture.
- Clean results — cookie banners, chat widgets and sticky bars are not repeated on every screen.
- Quiet by design — the result opens in a background tab, downloads, and closes itself. You stay where you were.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
- 100% local: everything happens inside your browser. Nothing is uploaded, ever.
- Just two permissions: activeTab and scripting. No "read all your data on all websites" warning.
- No accounts, no tracking, no analytics, no network requests.
- It only touches the tab you click, and only while you capture.
GOOD TO KNOW
- Works on regular websites. Browsers don't allow extensions on chrome:// pages, the Chrome Web Store or the built-in PDF viewer.
- If a page scrolls inside a block instead of the window (some dashboards and web apps), only the visible part can be saved — the extension will tell you.
- Very long pages are capped at 60,000 px per capture.
- Tip: for a save without a prompt, turn off "Ask where to save each file" in Chrome's download settings.
Perfect for: saving articles and receipts, sharing full-page mockups, archiving docs and dashboards, bug reports, research, and design reviews.
