About Scroll Shot
Scroll Shot autoscrolls any web page, or just the part of the page that scrolls, and captures it as one full-length screenshot.
AUTOSCROLL, HANDS-FREE
• Smooth scrolling from 40 to 4000 pixels per second
• Scroll down or up, and optionally loop back to the start
• Start or stop instantly with Alt+Shift+S
PICK THE ELEMENT THAT SCROLLS
Chats, feeds, tables, and side panels often scroll inside the page instead of the window. Click "Pick element", then click the area you want, and Scroll Shot will scroll and capture just that element.
FULL-PAGE SCREENSHOTS
• Capture view: save what's on screen right now
• Capture full scroll: Scroll Shot walks the target from top to bottom and stitches every shot into a single PNG
• Adjust the pause between shots and the overlap between frames
• Turn off stitching to save each frame as a separate image
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No accounts, no analytics, no tracking
• Screenshots are saved straight to your Downloads folder
• Settings are stored locally in your browser
• Scroll Shot makes no network requests
HOW TO USE
1. Click the Scroll Shot icon to open the side panel.
2. Keep "Window" selected, or choose "Pick element" and click the area that scrolls.
3. Press "Start autoscroll", or "Capture full scroll" to save the whole thing as an image.
NOTES
• Chrome allows extensions to take about two screenshots per second, so very long pages take a little time.
• Sticky headers may repeat in stitched images; increase the overlap or pick an inner element.
• Chrome's own pages (chrome:// and the Web Store) can't be scrolled or captured by any extension.
