About Scroll doomer
Scroll doomer helps you control endless scrolling with limits for websites you choose.
Choose how to limit your browsing:
- Pages: Choose how many screen heights you can scroll with the mouse wheel. At the limit, the website locks for 30 minutes. Your unlock task becomes available after that wait.
- Timer: Choose your browsing time. At zero, the website turns black and
your unlock task becomes available immediately.
Choose how to continue: solve a difficult math equation or type exactly 100 different words. Pasting and repeated words are blocked.
Protection is saved for each website and continues after refreshes and Chrome restarts. Active protection cannot be reset or edited from the extension menu before the limit, any required wait, and the unlock task are complete.
Website settings and scroll counts stay locally in Chrome. Essay text is
checked locally and is not saved or uploaded. The extension has no analytics or external network requests. It supports ordinary websites; Chrome system pages and the Chrome Web Store cannot be protected. Page counts measure wheel scrolling, not keyboard scrolling or dragging the scrollbar.
Disclaimer: This extension is not a replacement for discipline. Choose
realistic settings that support your focus. Start with a generous page limit and slowly reduce it over time. Build habits you can follow comfortably, without feeling restless or fighting a strong urge to keep scrolling.
