It never sends your screenshots, the text you type or extract, file names, page addresses, page titles, or page text. This is on by default; you can turn it off at any time with "Share anonymous usage data" in the popup. Your settings are saved with Chrome's sync storage, so Chrome syncs them across your devices if you use sync.
