Save a useful walkthrough, preserve a presentation, or capture the detail that explains your next idea. CAPTURE WHAT MATTERS • Take visible-area, selected-area, or full-page screenshots on supported web pages. • Record a selected area of a browser tab with tab audio. • Keep your capture tools in Chrome’s side panel while you switch tabs. KEEP YOUR ORIGINAL • Save recordings as WebM and download a local copy. • Reopen saved recordings from the browser’s recording library. • Import an existing WebM file up to 4 GiB. FOLLOW YOUR UPLOAD • Upload recordings to your MyCloudVIP account. • Pause and resume an upload while the recorder stays open. • Track cloud conversion to H.264 video and AAC audio in an MP4 file. • Retry a failed conversion while keeping the uploaded original available. • Once the cloud job is accepted, conversion continues even after Chrome closes. GET STARTED Sign in with your MyCloudVIP account. Open a supported web page and click the extension’s toolbar icon to enable capture on that tab. Choose a screenshot mode or select an area to record. Keep the recorder tab open during recording and upload; check the library for cloud conversion progress. GOOD TO KNOW Chrome 116 or later is required. Chrome’s internal pages and other restricted pages cannot be captured. A MyCloudVIP account and an internet connection are required for cloud features. Conversion takes time and depends on the recording. An interrupted upload may restart after you reopen Chrome. Browser backups use device storage and are removed if you uninstall the extension or clear its stored data. Uploaded originals and MP4 copies both use cloud storage.
