The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Scholar Highlights
Scholar Highlights is a Google Scholar profile page enhancement extension that:
- Color-codes every paper by the profile owner's role: first, co-first, second, corresponding, or last author. Understands the symbols authors annotate with (* † ‡ § # ✉), abbreviated names, accents, and "also published as" aliases.
- Shows papers, citations, h-index, and i10-index for just the highlighted papers, right beside the profile's own numbers.
- Charts highlighted papers per year.
- Filters by role and year range, and a focus mode hides everything that is not highlighted.
- Highlights the author's name in every author list.
- Loads the complete publication list automatically, so the numbers reflect every paper rather than only the first page.
- Blends into Scholar's own design, with everything beyond the numbers behind a single Options toggle.
Works on every regional Google Scholar domain. No setup and no account. Your preferences stay in your browser, and nothing is ever sent to anyone.
