About Saved Shortcut for Instagram
Open your saved Instagram posts in one click.
On Instagram's desktop website, your saved posts are buried: you have to open your profile, then switch to the Saved tab, every single time. Saved Shortcut for Instagram adds a "Saved" button directly to the left sidebar, right above Profile, so your saved posts are always one click away.
HOW IT WORKS
Install the extension, open instagram.com, and you'll see a new bookmark button in the left menu. Click it to go straight to your saved posts. That's it. There's nothing to set up.
FEATURES
- One-click access to your Saved posts from the sidebar, with no detour through your profile
- Works with any account. It detects the logged-in username automatically, and the button updates if you switch accounts
- Looks and feels native. The button matches the other menu items in font, color, spacing, hover effect and icon style
- Adapts to your layout. It works in both the expanded sidebar (icon and label) and the collapsed sidebar (icon only), and adjusts when you resize the window
- Fast navigation. It opens your saved posts the same way the other menu buttons work, without a full page reload
- Highlights when selected. On the Saved page the bookmark fills in and the label turns bold, like Instagram's own active items
- Normal link behavior. Ctrl/Cmd-click or middle-click opens Saved in a new tab
PRIVACY
Saved Shortcut for Instagram does not collect, store, or transmit any data. It has no accounts, no analytics, no tracking and no network requests. It only runs on instagram.com, and it only reads the username from the sidebar's Profile link so it can build the link to your Saved page. Everything happens locally in your browser.
PERMISSIONS
The extension requests access to instagram.com only, so it can add the button to the sidebar. It needs no other permissions.
NOTES
- This extension is for Instagram's desktop website (instagram.com) and doesn't change the mobile app
- You need to be logged in to Instagram for the button to appear
- Instagram occasionally updates its website. If the button ever stops appearing, please leave a message in the support tab and it will be fixed
