Save ChatGPT as PDF

Save ChatGPT conversations and Dots messages as clean, locally generated PDF files. Save ChatGPT as PDF prepares a printable document locally in Chrome and opens Chrome’s native print dialog. Highlights • Export full regular ChatGPT conversations, the currently loaded portion, or selected messages. • Collect long, virtualized ChatGPT conversations as you read. If the extension cannot confirm that the conversation is complete, it warns you and lets you save the available messages. • Preserve ChatGPT’s typography by default, or enable custom font size and weight controls, with optional native math fonts. • Choose A4 or Letter in portrait or landscape, or use a mobile-optimized page layout. • Save independent margins for each page mode and control page breaks between exchanges. • Customize light or dark styling, question colors and text alignment, or hide your questions. • Include optional document details such as the title, export date, source link, and model name. • Wrap long code, links, headings, and table content, with print rules that help prevent images and formulas from being clipped. • Switch the extension interface between English and Chinese. Dots support Save Dots messages from chatgpt.com/dots/home, including selected messages. Each exported message shows its author and timestamp when available. Your messages appear on the right in blue bubbles with white text, while Dot’s messages appear on the left. Dots exports the messages currently loaded on the page. Scroll up to load earlier messages before saving. Message text, links, tables, code, images, and attachment names are preserved. Attached documents are represented by their names; their contents are not converted into the PDF. Image attachments are loaded before printing, and your scroll position is restored afterward. If an image cannot load, you can cancel and retry or save the available content with a missing-image notice. How it works 1. Open a ChatGPT conversation or Dots. 2. Adjust the extension’s layout and style options if needed. To save selected messages, highlight text in those messages first. 3. Click Save as PDF, or open the export menu to choose another page format. 4. In Chrome’s print dialog, select Save as PDF. Privacy Conversation content is processed locally in your browser. It is not uploaded to a third-party PDF conversion service or saved in the extension’s storage. Requirements No additional account, subscription, or paid tier is required to use this extension.
