Satellite — Visual Bookmarks

Bring your Chrome bookmarks together in a customizable new tab. Web search follows Chrome’s default search engine through the Chrome Search API. To change your search provider, use Chrome settings. Satellite does not select a separate provider or change Chrome’s search settings. The new tab runs locally within the extension and does not redirect to the Google homepage. CIRCLE — EXPLORE YOUR BOOKMARKS Browse bookmark cards with the mouse wheel, drag gestures, or arrow keys. Use the folder button beside bookmark search to choose a folder, including its subfolders. Your selection is remembered. List continues to show all bookmarks. LIST — FIND AND ORGANIZE Search all your bookmarks by title or URL. Edit titles and URLs, move bookmarks between folders, or delete them. Undo up to 20 moves and deletions in the current workspace until the page is closed or reloaded. Title and URL edits cannot be undone through Satellite. BACKGROUND — MAKE IT YOURS Choose from 18 background themes, pick a custom color, or add your own image, GIF, MP4, or WebM. Media is stored locally (animated uploads: up to 20 MB). Tide is the initial background. Backgrounds are applied only within the new tab. CONTROLS — ADJUST THE FEEL Adjust scroll sensitivity, smoothing, and arrow-key hold speed. Choose card colors and transparency. Lightweight mode pauses background animation and reduces card shadows. Open Gmail, Drive, YouTube, and other Google services from convenient shortcuts. YOUR DATA Bookmark search, preferences, and background media are processed on your device. No bookmarks or settings are sent to the developer. Satellite includes no advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs and does not use browsing-history or cookie APIs. Bookmark edits change your actual Chrome bookmarks. BEFORE YOU INSTALL • Requires Chrome 120 or later. No login is required. • Chrome may show a footer at the bottom of the page after installation. Right-click it to hide it. The screenshots show the page with this footer hidden. • Web searches use Chrome’s default provider. Satellite does not request suggestions while you type. Submitted queries and search page traffic follow your provider’s privacy policy. • The bookmark workspace runs locally; web search and opening websites require internet access. • The interface is in English.
