SageScribe

SageScribe sends a YouTube video's transcript to your favorite AI chatbot — fully automated, one click. How it works: 1. Open any YouTube video 2. Pick a prompt (Super Detailed Summary, Quick Summary, Translate, ELI5, Critical Analysis, Verify, or your own) and a response language 3. Click an AI model button 4. SageScribe opens the AI service, selects the model you chose, pastes the transcript with your prompt, and sends it Supported AI services: - ChatGPT (Astra, Sol, Terra, Luna) with effort selection - Claude (Haiku, Sonnet, Opus, Fable) with effort selection - Gemini (Lite, Flash, Pro) - Grok (Fast, Expert, Heavy) Features: - 3-layer transcript extraction for maximum reliability - Verified model selection: sends only after confirming the model and effort you chose are active; otherwise pastes the prompt and tells you what to select - 6 built-in prompts plus your own custom prompts - 40 response languages with flags; choose which ones appear in the dropdown - Works on any YouTube video with captions or auto-generated subtitles Privacy-first: - No accounts, no backend, no analytics - Your data never leaves the browser except to the AI service you choose - All preferences stored locally - Permissions requested only when needed
