SafePaste: AI Prompt Privacy

SafePaste adds a local review step before you send a prompt on supported AI websites in Chrome. When you press Send, SafePaste checks the active prompt on your device. If it finds possible sensitive content, it pauses the send so you can review a safer version, edit it, send the original, or cancel. Detected values can be replaced with placeholders so you can review the redacted text before sending. Use the restoration tool to restore known placeholders in text you paste into it. Placeholder mappings are stored in Chrome local storage for this browser profile. By default, they do not expire automatically. You can remove saved mappings with Forget originals. Prompt text, custom sensitive terms, and placeholder mappings are not uploaded to SafePaste for scanning or restoration. SafePaste can check supported text and document attachments when Chrome exposes them to the extension. Images are warning-only: local OCR can flag sensitive-looking text, but SafePaste does not modify the image. Compatibility: SafePaste runs on supported AI websites in Chrome.
