RKCadTools ACC Bridge Connect Autodesk Construction Cloud, Autodesk Viewer, and compatible RKCadTools interactive 3D HTML exports with AutoCAD Plant 3D. FIND COMPONENTS FASTER Right-click a component to: • Open P&ID in Plant 3D – open the matching drawing and zoom to the component. • Open 3D in Plant 3D – locate the component in its 3D drawing. • Find in Interactive HTML – find its tag in your configured RKCadTools interactive P&ID. • Open an External Link – search your chosen website using a component property. SEE THE PROPERTIES YOU NEED In supported Autodesk viewers, RK Properties displays your chosen properties in a movable, resizable palette. It follows your selection, supports one-click copying, and remembers its size and position. Compatible RKCadTools 3D HTML exports keep their own Properties palette. The extension adds navigation commands without replacing it. CONNECT COMPONENT STUDIO Use supported RKCadTools Component Studio pages to request component import, testing, and verification through your paired local Plant 3D plugin. GETTING STARTED Configure properties and navigation from the extension popup. Pair with Plant 3D using the key from: RKCadTools Settings → Overview → Browser connection Plant 3D navigation requires a compatible RKCadTools installation, a valid licence, and the relevant project open. Tag-based navigation requires a Tag property. For local HTML files, enable “Allow access to file URLs” in the extension’s details page. For compatible exports hosted on other HTTPS websites, open the extension popup to activate the integration. YOUR DATA STAYS UNDER YOUR CONTROL Settings and the pairing key are stored locally. Plant 3D communication uses an authenticated local connection. No analytics, tracking, or component data uploads to RKCadTools. Navigation does not modify ACC models or component properties. External Links send the selected property value to your configured website. Component Studio sends definitions to your local plugin when requested.
