Revise: Write Anything Better

Revise writes and rewrites right where you are in Chrome. Highlight a sentence in any text box and a small bar appears under it: Rewrite, Fix, Adjust. Press Rewrite and the new text replaces the old in place, with Shorter, Longer and Undo one click away. Nothing is copied into another tab. Rough notes in, straight into your reply Open Revise beside the page, type a few rough notes, and get a draft that uses only what you gave it. Revise finds the box you are writing in, so the draft says where it goes ("Into your reply to George") and Insert puts it there, with Undo if you change your mind. Reply to anyone: an email, a message, a comment. Ask for a change and it comes back as a new version, with what changed marked. Know what they meant Select text you cannot edit, like an email, a post or a comment, and press Explain. Revise tells you what it means right beside it, and you can ask a follow-up. Work on what you have written The Revise mark sits in the corner of the box you are typing in. Press it to write in an empty box, or to work on what is already there. Say what should change Adjust opens a small card at your text. Type what you want, such as "warmer, and say we're closed Sunday", or pick Shorter, Longer, Casual or Formal. Revise keeps your meaning and your voice. Your chats go with you Every chat in Chrome is the same chat in the Revise app on iPhone and on the web, so you can start a draft in one place and finish it in another.
