Review Assist by Parinitg

Review Assist is a Chrome extension designed to simplify and speed up BBFC content review tasks. With tools like a Timestamp Copy Button and Caption Analysis Tool, Review Assist eliminates repetitive manual effort while enhancing accuracy in content analysis. It provides two powerful tools: 🔹 Timestamp Copy Button – Instantly copy video timestamps with a single click. The button is draggable, remembers its position, and works seamlessly in full screen mode. 🔹 Caption Analysis Tool – Automatically scans embedded captions, highlights key words, and organizes them into the correct BBFC or CBFC MR/CD categories (e.g., Language, Discrimination, Sex References, etc.). It also detects duration to apply BBFC’s policy thresholds for word usage. 🆕New Update 🌍 Multi-Country Rating System Support Added support for India (CBFC) rating system alongside UK (BBFC) Easy country selection via dropdown in popup Automatically adapts MR categories and content descriptors based on selected country 📊 Enhanced Content Analysis New Non-MR content descriptor categories for UK (e.g., VLC, SCD & SH, RH & CH) Improved table display with separate sections for MR-based and Non-MR categories Color-coded rating categories for better visual clarity ✨ User Experience Improvements Redesigned popup interface with clear country policy indicator Visual separation between MR-based and Non-MR categories Addition of new key words. The Captions Assist table window can now be expanded for better readability. ✨ Key Benefits Save time by eliminating manual timestamp copying process Improve accuracy in identifying and categorizing words in captions Customize categories and word lists directly in the extension popup Works out-of-the-box with BBFC caption review tools, with flexible configuration for other sites 📌 Use Case Example While reviewing video content, copy exact timestamps instantly with one click, without manually selecting and copying. Analyze captions automatically and generate a clear, color-coded table of flagged words by category and rating level 🔒 Privacy & Security Review Assist processes page content locally to count words and copy timestamps. It does not collect, transmit, or share user data. No analytics or remote servers are used. The extension’s single purpose is to streamline BBFC-style content review by assisting with timestamps and caption analysis. Only requests necessary permissions for functionality Key Changes in Version 3.0: 1. Added three new non-MR (Maturity Rating) content descriptor categories for additional content classification 2. These new categories function identically to existing MR-based categories but are stored and displayed separately 3. No changes to data collection, permissions, or privacy practices All existing functionality remains unchanged
