Resume Reading for Google Drive™

Pick up right where you left off in Google Drive™ PDF previews. Google Drive™ always opens PDF previews at page 1. Resume Reading remembers the page you last viewed in each PDF and takes you straight back to it, automatically. No extra clicks, no bookmarks to manage. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open a PDF preview in Google Drive™, from your file list or in a full tab. 2. Read as usual. The page you stop on is saved for that file. 3. Open the same PDF again and you're back on that page, with a brief "Moved to page N" notice. FEATURES - Works with both the file-list preview and the full-tab preview - Works when you're signed in to more than one Google account - Remembers the page you last stayed on, not the furthest page you reached - Reading positions follow you across your desktop Chrome browsers via Chrome sync - The notice can be turned off in the extension options PRIVACY - Nothing is collected or sent to any server. - Only each file's ID and page number are stored, in your browser and your Chrome sync storage. - No Google account access, no Drive API, no sign-in. LIMITATIONS - Works only in the Google Drive™ web preview, not in Chrome's built-in PDF viewer or for downloaded files. - Right after an extension update, refresh any Google Drive™ tabs that were already open.
