Real Discount Checker

Real Discount Checker helps GEORGIAN shoppers understand what a store’s “old price” really means by comparing it with our recorded price history. On supported product pages, you can see: • the current price and advertised crossed-out “was” price; • whether our records support the crossed-out price shown by the store; • the lowest and highest prices we observed during that period (Min/Max); • the number of observed days and the available history; • a simple price chart; and • a clear disclosure when the available record is incomplete or differs from the live page. The extension shows what our records tell us, not what merchants intended. Real Discount Checker never claims that a sale is fake or that a store manipulated its prices. Instead, it gives you the price history so you can judge the discount for yourself. The extension is being tested on Georgian electronics, fashion, furniture, and marketplace sites. No account is required, and it never asks for your password or payment information. It currently supports 25 major Georgian retail and marketplace sites, including Alta.ge, Extra.ge, Zoommer.ge, Dressup.ge, and Mymarket.ge. More sites are being added.
