The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Rather's Link Cleaner
Messy links all over the web, cleaned in place.
No redirect service, no link wrapper, nothing that hides where a link goes. Your link stays your link, same page, same site, just without the hundreds of characters of tracking junk stuffed onto the end. The address bar is rewritten in place, so the link you copy is the clean one.
WHAT IT DOES
- Cleans URLs automatically on nearly 300 popular sites (shopping, travel, social, video, news, search, docs), each with hand-tuned rules. The parts that matter always survive: variant selections, timestamps, gift links, map coordinates.
- Cleans any link on demand: right-click "Copy clean URL" (works on selected text too), a keyboard shortcut, an address-bar keyword, a bulk cleaner for whole emails and files, and a popup that shows exactly what was removed and copies as text, Markdown, HTML link, or QR code.
- Sees through redirect trackers: search click-trackers, social outbound wrappers, and AMP viewer pages copy (and click through) as their real destination, recovered from the link itself, never fetched.
- Optional deeper modes, all off by default: strip trackers on every site, block them before the request even leaves your browser, skip tracker redirect pages entirely. The browser asks for the wider permission only when you enable one, and it is handed back when they are all off.
- Tired of AI answers on top of your search results? An opt-in switch keeps the AI answer box out of your web searches while leaving the results themselves intact, with sensible exceptions: searches that already use exclusion operators are left alone, and image, news, and shopping searches are never touched.
WHY IT WON'T BREAK YOUR PAGES
On covered sites, cleaning happens in the address bar after the page has loaded, so logins, payments, and searches cannot be broken by it. A badge counts what was cleaned on each page, and if anything ever looks wrong: per-site toggles, a pause button for the tab, one-click site exclusion.
