Rate Limited Browser slows down how fast you can read on the web, so it's harder to get lost in rabbit holes. It's free forever: no account, no tracking, no nonsense. HOW IT WORKS 1. You have a word budget that refills slowly. The words you read are paid for from it. 2. When you open a page, you see the first ~200 words for free. The rest is hidden. 3. Scroll or click, and the hidden words appear and are paid for. That's it! You start with a budget of ~2,500 words (15,000 characters). It refills at ~100 words a minute (10 characters a second). That's about half of normal reading speed, which leaves time to think about what you've read. When the budget is empty, text keeps appearing at the refill speed.
