Rail-Replay

**Spot the train first. Clip it after. Never miss a pass again.** Rail-Replay gives you an instant retrospective replay buffer for live rail webcams. Instead of frantically trying to guess when an unexpected freight, charter, or rare unit is coming, you can just sit back and watch. Once the train has cleared the shot, hit a button to export the footage that just happened. No more missed workings, no blurry photos of computer monitors, and no silent screenshots. You get high-quality video with direct live stream audio, ready to post straight to Facebook groups or save to your collection. **How Retrospective Clipping Works:** 1. Watch the live stream normally. Rail-Replay silently maintains a rolling buffer of the last 60 seconds in your browser’s temporary memory. 2. A train passes by. 3. **After the train clears the camera**, click **Clip Last 10s**, **Clip Last 30s**, or **Clip Last 60s**. 4. Your clip downloads instantly as a clean video file complete with trackside audio! **Key Features:** * **Clip After It Happens:** Built-in buttons for **10s** (quick light engine moves), **30s** (standard passenger passes), and **60s** (long freight and charters). * **Live Buffer Status:** Clean status dot shows exactly how many seconds are currently buffered and ready to export. * **Re-Position ** Click Move Widget in the settings and drag the menu to a better location on the screen. * **Authentic Trackside Audio:** Records the direct web stream audio without picking up background room noise, mic echo, or typing sounds. * **Designed for Railcam.uk:** Configured and active on Railcam.uk feeds by default for immediate plug-and-play use. * **Universal Site Toggle:** Want to clip from YouTube Live or other heritage railway webcams? Easily toggle the extension on to work across any HTML5 video stream on the web. * **100% Local & Private:** All buffering is held purely in your local RAM and erased when you close the tab. No browsing data, accounts, or personal information are ever tracked or sent to external servers. --- *Disclaimer: Rail-Replay is an independent, fan-made community utility and is not officially affiliated with or endorsed by Railcam UK or any other streaming service.*
