About QuickImage - WebP, PNG & JPG Converter
QuickImage converts a web image from Chrome's right-click menu and downloads it in PNG, JPG, or WebP format.
HOW TO USE
1. Right-click an image on a webpage.
2. Open “QuickImage: Convert image.”
3. Choose the output format.
4. Review Chrome's image-host access request if it appears.
CONTROL THE RESULT
Adjust lossy output quality from 50% to 100% in the popup. QuickImage keeps the source dimensions when Chrome can safely decode and render the image. Download filenames are cleaned and given the correct extension. The toolbar badge and popup show conversion progress and the result.
LOCAL CONVERSION
QuickImage has no conversion server, account, analytics, or ads. It asks for access to the selected image's host when you start a conversion. Chrome fetches the source from that host, converts it locally, and starts the download. The popup lists saved site access and lets you remove it.
LIMITS
Input must be a static image that your installed Chrome version can decode; animation is not preserved. Downloads are capped at 40 MiB, and decoded images at 64 megapixels and 32,767 pixels per side. Some inputs must be decoded before their dimensions can be checked. Browser-internal, local-file, authenticated, protected, or redirecting image sources may be unavailable.
