Quick Text Highlighter - Search, Highlight & Jump!

Keep important words in view—and find them again in seconds. Quick Text Highlighter is designed to help you quickly add the words you want to track, then jump from one match to the next with a click. You can also find texts hidden by the page layout by jumping to a match to reveal it in a floating preview with the surrounding text shown. Quick Text Highlighter makes keywords stand out as you read, then helps you jump from one match to the next. This extension allows you to add and find words quickly and the terms searched in the search engines of supported search sites (Google, X) will be highlighted automatically. HIGHLIGHT WORDS IN SECONDS • Select text on a page and choose “Add” or “Replace” from the floating tooltip. Select a highlighted word and choose “Remove.” • Edit your word list in the popup, or add or replace words from your clipboard with keyboard shortcuts. • Drag the tooltip where you like; it remembers its position. JUMP TO ANY MATCH • The navigation panel shows your active words. Click a word to jump to its highlighted locations. • Sort words by oldest, newest, frequency (count), or A–Z. • Keep the panel floating and draggable, or dock it to the top, bottom, left, or right of the page. Set a default layout or customize it for each site. AUTO-HIGHLIGHT SEARCH TERMS Search terms from Google, Amazon can be added and highlighted automatically. Choose which sites to use, how long temporary terms remain, and how many to keep. CUSTOMIZE WHAT YOU SEE Exclude specific websites or words. Turn highlighting on or off from the popup or with a keyboard shortcut; the extension icon badge shows its status. SYNC AND PRIVACY Your main word list and supported settings sync through Chrome Sync. Text is processed locally in your browser; browsing data is not sent to external servers.
