The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.

About Quick Notes

Quick Notes is a clean, fast notepad that lives right in your browser toolbar. No account, no sign up — just open it and start typing. Up to 5 tabbed notes: Keep separate notes for different things — a grocery list, meeting notes, quick ideas. Double-click any tab to rename it. Search everything: Instantly search across all your notes with highlighted matches, so you never lose track of where you wrote something down. Markdown preview: Write in plain text or markdown, then toggle the preview to see it rendered — headings, bold, lists, links, and more. Stays in sync: Your notes save automatically and sync across your own Chrome browsers using Chrome's built-in sync — no external servers, no third parties. Built to stay out of your way: Word and character count, one-click copy, dark mode, and nothing to configure.
