About Quantlow Scanner
Quantlow Scanner reads the trading chart on your screen and turns it into a clear, structured second opinion in seconds: a direction (BUY, SELL, or WAIT), a confidence score and grade, an entry zone, a stop, a target, the key price levels it noticed, an invalidation condition, and a short written explanation of the reasoning behind it all. One click, a few seconds, and a messy chart becomes a checklist you can actually think with.
It is built for traders who are tired of staring at candles and second-guessing themselves. Instead of replacing your judgement, Quantlow Scanner gives you a fast, consistent, emotion-free read to compare against your own — a sanity check before you commit, and a way to think in terms of structure (entry, risk, reward) rather than impulse.
WHAT IT DOES
• Captures the chart on your active tab when you click "Scan" — nothing else, nothing in the background.
• Sends that single image to Quantlow's analysis service.
• Returns a structured technical read in seconds, shown right next to your chart in a docked side panel.
• Works on essentially any broker or charting site, because it reads a picture of the chart rather than hooking into a specific platform's data feed.
You stay in control the whole time. The scan only happens when you ask for it. There is no auto-trading, no order placement, no broker account linking, and no background monitoring of your browsing.
WHAT'S IN EVERY VERDICT
Each scan returns a single, easy-to-read card:
• DIRECTION — BUY, SELL, or WAIT. "WAIT" is a real, deliberate output: if the chart doesn't present a clean setup, the tool tells you to stand aside rather than invent a trade. Knowing when NOT to trade is half the job.
• CONFIDENCE & GRADE — a percentage and a letter grade summarising how clean and well-defined the setup looks. A high grade is not a promise of profit; it means the technical picture is clearer and the levels are better defined. Lower grades are a cue to be cautious or to skip.
• ENTRY — the price zone where the idea makes sense to act on, so you're not chasing a candle that already ran.
• STOP — where the idea is wrong. This is the most important number on the card. Quantlow Scanner is built to make you look at your risk first.
• TARGET — a reasonable objective for the move, so you can judge risk-to-reward before you click buy or sell.
• KEY LEVELS — the support and resistance prices the analysis keyed off, so you can see the structure it's reading, not just the conclusion.
• INVALIDATION — a plain-language condition that voids the setup (for example, "a close back below this level cancels the long"). A clean exit rule that keeps you honest.
• REASONING — a short written explanation of WHY: trend context, where price pulled back to, what the wicks and momentum are saying. You learn from it instead of blindly following it.
Because every scan uses the same framework, you get consistency. The chart doesn't get analysed differently because you're tired, excited, or down on the day. That consistency is the point.
WHY TRADERS USE IT
• A SECOND OPINION ON DEMAND. You already have a bias when you open a chart. Quantlow Scanner gives you an independent read to check it against. Agreement builds conviction; disagreement makes you slow down and ask why.
• RISK-FIRST THINKING. The card always shows a stop and an invalidation, not just a direction. It nudges you to define your risk before your reward — the habit that separates traders who last from those who don't.
• SPEED. Scanning a chart by hand — trend, structure, levels, momentum, risk:reward — takes minutes. This compresses it into seconds, so you can review more charts or move faster on the one in front of you.
• CONSISTENCY. Same framework, every time, with no emotional drift. Your process becomes repeatable.
• A LEARNING TOOL. The reasoning and key-levels output show their work. Over time you start to internalise the structure the tool is reading and get sharper at spotting it yourself.
• LESS SCREEN FATIGUE. Instead of agonising over a chart, you get a clean checklist: here's the level, here's the risk, here's the invalidation. Decide, act or pass, move on.
WHO IT'S FOR
• THE SECOND-GUESSER. If you form a view, then talk yourself out of it (or into a worse one), an independent read helps you commit to a plan or walk away cleanly.
• THE OVERTRADER. If you take trades out of boredom or FOMO, the "WAIT" verdict gives you a reason to pass on low-quality setups.
• THE LEARNER. If you're still building your eye for structure, compare your read against a consistent framework and improve faster.
• THE BUSY TRADER. If you don't have time to work through trend, structure, levels, and risk:reward on every chart, this compresses that routine into seconds.
• THE DISCIPLINED TRADER. If you already have a process, use it as a fast confirmation step and a second pair of eyes that never gets tired or emotional.
It is NOT for anyone looking for a hands-off "money printer" or guaranteed signals. This is a thinking tool, not a shortcut around risk.
WORKS ON ANY BROKER OR CHART
Quantlow Scanner reads a screenshot of whatever chart is on your screen, so it isn't tied to one platform or data provider. Forex, indices, commodities, crypto, OTC pairs, equities — if it's a candlestick (or OHLC) chart on your screen, you can scan it.
For best results:
• Use a clean candlestick chart with a readable timeframe label.
• Make sure the chart fills most of the visible area before you scan.
• Avoid covering the chart with drawing tools or popups.
• A standard light-on-dark or dark-on-light candlestick view reads best.
