QR Snap – Scan QR Codes on Screen

Open QR codes on your computer without reaching for your phone. QR Snap finds QR codes in images and anywhere on a web page, then opens the link right away. HOW TO USE • Right-click a QR image → "Open QR in this image" • Press Alt+Shift+Q (Mac: Option+Shift+Q) or click the toolbar icon, then drag around the QR code Click without dragging to scan the whole view. Press Esc to cancel. • Right-click anywhere on a page → "Scan QR in screen area" READS THE HARD ONES • Small, blurry, or low-contrast QR codes • Inverted QR codes (light code on a dark background) • QR codes in CSS backgrounds, canvas elements, and video frames • Several QR codes on one screen WHAT HAPPENS NEXT • Web links open in a new tab next to the current one. • Multiple codes or plain text (like Wi-Fi details) appear in a result card where you can open or copy them. • Turn off auto-open in Options if you'd rather check links before opening them. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything runs on your device. QR Snap only sees the tab when you start a scan, and it never stores or sends images or results anywhere. No account, no tracking. Note: Chrome doesn't allow extensions to run on browser pages such as chrome:// or the Chrome Web Store.
