The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About PVR Seat Checker
PVR Seat Checker is a lightweight, privacy-focused extension that silently watches any PVR or INOX cinema page and alerts you the exact moment seats open for your chosen movie on your chosen dates.
Never miss opening-weekend tickets for blockbuster movies again!
FEATURES:
• 100% Free: No hidden fees, no subscriptions, and runs securely on your own laptop.
• Works everywhere: Supports any PVR or INOX cinema across India.
• Lightning Fast: Uses PVR's public JSON API directly for 100% reliable tracking (no flaky webpage scraping).
• Set it and Forget it: Checks all available dates automatically and polls silently in the background.
• Instant Action: Automatically opens a new tab to PVR the instant tickets are found so you can book immediately.
• Email Alerts: Optionally sends you an instantaneous email alert bundling all available showtimes via Resend.
HOW IT WORKS:
1. Open the Extension Settings.
2. Type in the movie you want to watch (e.g., "Spider-Man").
3. Paste the URL of your local PVR/INOX cinema.
4. Set your preferred dates (e.g., "any", "weekends", or "2026-08-15").
5. The extension will check every 15 minutes. When tickets drop, it instantly opens a new tab to the booking page and fires a desktop notification!
PRIVACY BY DESIGN:
This extension runs entirely locally inside your browser. No personal data leaves your machine. The only network requests made are the direct API calls to PVR to check seating availability, and (if configured) the API call to Resend's servers to dispatch your email alert. No tracking, no analytics, no ads.
