The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Purl
Purl is a calm place to save and share the links you find: a home for your “pearls.”
This extension adds a Save button to your toolbar. Click it on any page and the link goes straight into your Purl account. Purl fills in the title, favicon, description and thumbnail for you, so your links stay easy to recognize later.
How it works
• Click the Purl icon in the toolbar while you’re on a page.
• A small message on the page confirms the link was saved, or tells you if something went wrong (for example, if you need to log in).
• Open purl.live to see everything you’ve saved, sort it into folders and share a folder with a link.
Good to know
• You need a free Purl account. Log in at purl.live first; the extension uses that session.
• Every account can save up to 1,000 links.
• The extension only acts when you click its icon. It sends the address of the current tab to purl.live and nothing else. It doesn’t read page content or track your browsing.
Purl works on the web and as an installable app. Learn more at purl.live.
