The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Proxy Manager
Proxy Manager lets you save multiple proxies and switch between them from the Chrome toolbar.
Paste a proxy string, test the public IP, save it by region name, and connect in one click. Disconnect returns Chrome to a direct connection.
Supported formats:
• hostname:port:username:password
• socks5://username:password@host:port
• username:password@hostname:port
• hostname:port@username:password
Also supports http://, https://, and socks4:// URL-style proxies.
Features:
• Parse common proxy strings automatically
• Detect region names such as JP or KR from the username
• Save multiple proxies by name
• Test a proxy before saving
• Connect, disconnect, and delete from the saved list
• See the current public IP while connected
• Green status dot on the toolbar icon while a proxy is active
• Same region name replaces the previous saved proxy
How to use:
1. Click the Proxy Manager icon.
2. Paste your proxy string or fill in the fields.
3. Click Test to confirm the public IP.
4. Click Save, or Save & Connect.
5. Use Connect on a saved proxy to switch regions.
6. Click Disconnect to browse without a proxy.
Notes:
• Saved proxies stay on your device in Chrome storage.
• Username and password are stored locally so you can reconnect later.
• SOCKS username/password support depends on Chrome and the proxy provider.
• This extension does not sell or operate proxy servers. You must supply your own proxy details.
Use this extension only with proxy services you trust.
