The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.

About PrivateSummary

PrivateSummary Download once, private forever. Free. No account. No cloud. A Chrome extension that summarizes any web page locally on your device using a tiny on-device language model ([SmolLM2-135M-Instruct](https://huggingface.co/HuggingFaceTB/SmolLM2-135M-Instruct)). Page content never leaves the browser. The model downloads once (~140 MB), is cached permanently via the browser Cache API, and every later summary runs fully offline.
