Print at Exact Size

Print any image at the exact size you need, in inches or centimeters. It works with images on websites and with image files already saved on your computer. Right-click an image and choose "Print at Exact Size". A print page opens with a live preview of every sheet. PRINT YOUR OWN SAVED IMAGES TOO If an image is saved on your computer, such as a photo or a logo, you can print it at an exact size. 1. Drag the image file into a Chrome window. It opens in a tab. 2. Right-click the image and choose "Print at Exact Size". You don't need to upload it anywhere or install other software. The first time, Chrome asks you to turn on "Allow access to file URLs" for the extension, and the extension takes you straight to that setting. Works with JPG, PNG or any image file Chrome can open. SIZE IT EXACTLY • Enter a width or a height. With "Maintain aspect ratio" on, the other side is calculated for you. • Work in inches or centimeters. You choose once, and you can switch at any time. • Choose from common office and photo paper sizes, or enter a custom size. • Portrait or landscape is chosen automatically, or you can pick one yourself. • Margins are adjustable. MULTPILE COPIES ON ONE SHEET • Print several copies of the same size, or tick "Fill the sheet" to fit as many as possible. • Spacing between copies is adjustable. • Optional crop marks line up with every cut line for fast, accurate trimming. You can turn them off. POSTER PRINTING • Images bigger than your paper are split across several sheets with an overlap, trim marks and sheet labels, ready to tape together. PRINT OR SAVE AS PDF • Print straight from Chrome, or save an exact-size PDF. JPEG photos keep their original quality. • The PDF tells PDF viewers not to resize it when printing. GET THE SIZE RIGHT • Built-in tips cover the printer settings that most often change your size, such as "Fit to page", borderless mode and paper size mismatches. • A warning appears if your margins are too small for most printers. • After printing, a notice shows what was sent, so you don't print twice by accident. Every setting is remembered for next time. PRIVACY Everything happens on your computer. The extension doesn't collect, store or send any personal data, and your files are never uploaded. It only reads the image you right-click, and only so it can print it. FROM THE PUBLISHER I created this extension because this was such a common task I've done a million times. Whether printing photos, crafts, or anything that required a precise dimension - I would find myself needing to drag the file into a document editor and resizing it there.
