About Pricing Lab for Turo Hosts – Competitor Prices, Floors & Net Earnings

Know what the same car charges near you, and what you actually keep. Pricing Lab is an independent pricing tool for Turo hosts. Press Compare and it reads every same make-and-model listing near you from Turo's own search: each car's daily rate and distance, the local median and range, and exactly where your price ranks ("You're at $137, 21% below the median. 2 of 7 are cheaper than you."). Your first Compare is free on every install. It also scans your host calendar, flags every day priced below the floor you set, shows what you'd take home after your earnings-plan share and 2026's stacked discounts, and can reprice a whole week in one approved click. You confirm every change on the Turo page before anything saves. WILL THIS GET MY ACCOUNT FLAGGED? No credentials, nothing saves without your confirmation. Pricing Lab never asks for your Turo password and never logs in for you. Everything it does happens because you clicked something: it reads a Turo page when you open the popup on it, and when you apply a price it fills in Turo's own calendar controls exactly as if you'd typed them, then waits for your click. The one exception is Compare: because Turo only returns search results to its own pages, pressing Compare reads through a Turo tab you already have open, or briefly opens one and closes it when it's done. It tells you which before it does anything. There is no scheduled, timed, or background activity of any kind; close the popup and nothing runs. From Turo's side it's indistinguishable from you looking up prices and managing your own listing, because that's what it is. Independent and not affiliated with Turo. WHAT IT DOES - Compare (first run free, then Pro): every comparable car listed near you with its real daily rate and distance, the local median and range, and where your price ranks. Direct competitors only (same make and model); the wider market is a footnote. Your own listing is excluded from your own median. - Whole-calendar scan: read every upcoming day at once: price, whether you or Turo's dynamic pricing set it, and which days are booked. - Real net-take math: pick your earnings plan and see what you'd actually keep per day after Turo's 2026 discounts, not the sticker the guest pays. - Guided apply: preview every change, then apply a single day or the whole week in one approved step. The extension drives Turo's own calendar; nothing saves until you confirm. - Weekday & weekend prices: set your own price for weekdays, weekends, and (optionally) holidays, then apply them across the next 7, 14, or 30 days, or a custom date range, in one approved pass. Booked days are always skipped. - Explainable guardrail: "Dynamic Pricing + X%, but never below your floor." Every suggestion says which rule produced it. - Holiday-aware day types: dates auto-classify (US holidays and peak-travel days) so the right floor applies. - Price floors (Pro): weekday, weekend, and holiday minimums. Every open day is checked against them and below-floor days are flagged in red. - Price-change watch (Pro): re-capture a listing and see what moved (delta $ and %) against your earlier snapshot. - Ask your own data (Pro): an optional AI assistant answers pricing questions from your own calendar, floors, and captured competitor prices, and cites the figures it used. - Local-first: up to 250 snapshots stored in your browser; CSV/JSON export (Pro). - Feedback tab: report an issue or request a feature from inside the popup; the "what gets sent" list is generated from the actual payload. PRIVACY & DATA The free features run entirely on your device: the calendar scan, net-earnings math, holiday day types, weekday & weekend bulk pricing, and guided apply never contact a server of ours. Pricing Lab never asks for your Turo password and never reads your cookies, sessions, tokens, or browsing history. It reads a page only when you act in the popup, and changes a price only when you start and confirm the action. Compare reads Turo's own public search results through a Turo tab: one you already have open, or one it opens and closes itself. Two optional features send data off your device, and only when you actively use them. When you submit a question to the AI assistant (Pro), your question plus a compact summary of the pricing/calendar/competitor context you chose is sent to our assistant service and on to the AI provider (Anthropic) to generate the answer. When you send feedback, your message and a short diagnostics summary (extension version, page type, plan) are sent to our feedback service; attaching your last calendar scan is off by default. Nothing is sold or used for advertising. If you never open the assistant or send feedback, none of your captured data ever leaves your browser. PRICING Free forever: one full Compare, the calendar scan, quote capture, the guardrail rule, net-take math, holiday day types, weekday & weekend bulk pricing, and guided apply. After the free run, Compare keeps showing the market median and range; Pro unlocks every competitor's rate and your rank, plus floors with breach alerts, price-change watch, the assistant, event floor presets, and full history/export. Pro is $6/month or $60/year, flat per host (not per vehicle). 30-day money-back guarantee. Founding hosts: through October 31, 2026, the first 100 annual subscribers can enter code FOUNDER48 at checkout for $48/year, held for as long as the subscription stays active. Pricing Lab is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Turo. Recommendations are not guarantees of bookings or earnings.
