PricePeek – Currency Converter

PricePeek shows what any price on the web means in your own currency – in a second, without leaving the page. HOW IT WORKS • Select a price on any website, right-click and choose "Convert Currency". The converted amount appears right next to the price, ready to copy with one click. • Convert a whole page: click "Convert page" in the popup or press Alt+Shift+A (Option+Shift+A on Mac), and every price with a currency gets a small label with the converted amount. Do it again to remove the labels. • Need a quick calculation? Click the extension icon and type an amount. The result updates as you type, the two currencies swap with one click, and your last amount is remembered. • Also shows the amount in your two most recently used currencies, and keeps working offline with the last saved rates. • Keyboard shortcuts: Alt+Shift+C converts the selected price, Alt+Shift+P opens the converter. SMART ABOUT PRICES • Reads real-world formats: 2 490 Kč · €1.299,00 · £84.99 · US$1,234.56 · 12 990 Ft · CHF 1'250.00 • Detects the currency from codes (USD, EUR, CZK…) and symbols such as € £ Kč zł Ft ₹ ₩ ₺. For $, ¥ and kr it uses your currency when it matches the symbol, otherwise USD, JPY or SEK. • 160+ currencies – search them by code, currency name or country, with or without accents. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No access to the sites you visit: PricePeek runs only on the tab where you ask for a conversion, so Chrome shows no "read and change all your data" warning. • No account, no sign-up, no ads, no analytics or tracking. • Your currency choice is saved in your Chrome profile. Exchange rates are cached and refreshed once a day (rates by ExchangeRate-API). LANGUAGES English, Slovak, Czech, Polish, Hungarian, German, Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese (Brazil).
