About Pretty Hacker News

Pretty Hacker News redesigns news.ycombinator.com into a cleaner, more readable experience — without leaving the site you already use. FEATURES • Modern layout for Top, New, Best, Ask, Show, and Jobs • Save stories and job posts to revisit later • Side panel to browse saved items, filtered by Stories or Jobs • Built-in search across Hacker News • Light, Dark, and Auto themes • Cleaner comment threads that are easier to follow HOW IT WORKS Install the extension, then open any Hacker News page. Pretty Hacker News takes over the page UI automatically. Click the extension icon to open the side panel for your saved items and theme settings. Your saves and theme preference stay in Chrome storage on your device. Login, submit, and account pages remain unchanged so you can still use HN as usual.
