PostVault - Download Everything

PostVault (formerly ThreadsSaver) saves social media posts to your computer in full, including text, images and videos. It supports multiple export formats and batch downloads, so you can organize, back up and read posts offline. Works with Threads, Instagram, X, TikTok and other social platforms. KEY FEATURES - One-click download: a download button next to each post saves its text, images and videos at once - Multiple formats: Markdown, JSON, HTML, plain text and CSV - Batch download: scroll to collect posts, then get them all in a single ZIP file - Video download: pick individual videos from a post, or download straight from the video viewer - Combine downloads: turn a multi-image post into one grid image, a single row or a PDF, ready to share or repost - Custom file names: build names from the username, date, content preview and more - Download history: posts you have downloaded stay marked, even after reloading the page - Reply radar: finds posts that are fresh, gaining traction and not yet crowded, with export to CSV, JSON or Markdown - Video captions: on supported video platforms, save captions as a transcript in TXT, Markdown, SRT or VTT - AI agent access: let a browser-based AI assistant download and organize posts for you (off by default, you turn it on) - Four interface languages: English, 繁體中文, 简体中文 and 日本語 THE DOWNLOAD BUTTON Click the download button next to a post and choose (options vary slightly by platform): 1. Download all: packs the whole post into a ZIP with its text and every image and video, using a meaningful file name 2. Download media: images and videos only, with a list of the media files 3. Download videos: pick individual videos when a post has several, or pack them into a ZIP; a single video downloads directly 4. Batch download: downloads the posts collected on the current page, organized per post, as images only, text only or everything The button turns green once a post is downloaded, and stays green after you reload the page. VIDEO VIEWER DOWNLOAD A download button appears in the top-right corner of the video viewer, so you can save the video you are watching. In carousels it detects which video is currently playing. COMBINE DOWNLOADS Multi-image posts have a "Combine into one image" option in the download menu. It shows a preview first, then saves with the layout you pick: - Grid: 2 to 5 columns, picked automatically to be as close to square as possible, or choose your own - Single row: when there are too many images or the ratio would exceed what posting platforms accept, it is split into several images automatically - PDF: one image per page, original image files embedded without recompression - Restore panorama: when a carousel is a panorama that was sliced apart, join it back into one image (supporter feature) - Automatic combining: in advanced settings, add a combined image to each multi-image download, or keep only the combined image (supporter feature) - TikTok photo posts: turn them into a video with the original music (supporter feature) Combined images stay within 4096 px on the long side and a 10:1 ratio, so you never get a very tall vertical strip that fails when you post it. Everything is processed in your browser. REPLY RADAR On supported sites such as X, Bluesky, Dcard and some video platforms, it picks out the posts you have scrolled past that are fresh, gaining traction and not yet crowded, so you spend your time writing thoughtful replies instead of hunting for posts. - Combined ranking: scores posts by age, likes and replies, and labels them as fresh, rising, first to reply or crowded - Keywords: choose boost (matches rank higher) or matches only, and put a minus sign in front of a word to exclude it - Sorting: combined, newest, most liked or fewest replies - Export: CSV (opens in Excel without garbled characters), JSON or Markdown, or copy a table you can paste straight into a spreadsheet - Reply drafts: copy a prompt that includes the post, paste it into the AI you already use, then check the draft and send it yourself - Background patrol: lets an AI agent open a dedicated window, search your keywords page by page and put the results together (you accept a notice in the AI tools tab first; the window must stay visible, and the free plan allows 1 patrol a day with 1 keyword) - It never replies, follows or posts anything for you AI AGENT ACCESS In the AI tools tab you can turn on AI agent access, which lets an AI assistant that can control your browser download posts, build lists and run the reply radar on the page for you. It is off by default, only works after you turn it on, and you can turn it off at any time. The assistant can only use what PostVault already does, and it never receives your account or password.
