The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About Portfolio Capture — Full Page Screenshot
Capture the entire page, top to bottom, as a single image — then have your watermark stamped on it automatically, before it ever hits your Downloads folder.
Built for people assembling a portfolio or a case study. Designers showing off a landing page, freelancers building a case-study deck, agencies documenting client work — anyone who needs a full-page screenshot that's already branded as theirs, not a bare PNG they have to open in another tool first.
WHAT IT DOES
• Full-page capture — click the toolbar icon, hit "Capture full page", and it scrolls the page tile by tile and stitches everything into one image. Works on any regular web page.
• Automatic watermark — text or your own uploaded image, in any corner, at whatever opacity you want. Set it once in Options; every capture after that has it applied automatically.
• Straight to Downloads — no extra dialog, no manual "save as": the finished PNG lands in your Downloads folder ready to share.
What makes this different from a plain full-page screenshot tool: capturing the page is half the job — the other half is making it unmistakably yours before you hand it to a client or drop it into a deck. Portfolio Capture does both in one click.
HONEST ABOUT PERMISSIONS AND NETWORK
• Reads and captures only the page you're currently on (activeTab + scripting), and only after you click the toolbar icon — no background scanning of pages you didn't ask about.
• downloads is used for exactly one thing: saving the finished screenshot, so you don't have to resolve a "Save as" dialog every time.
• Your watermark config (text/image/position/opacity) is stored locally (chrome.storage.local) — never synced, never sent anywhere.
• 100% local. Zero network requests. No analytics beyond an anonymous install ping with zero personal data, no ads, no account, no remote code.
