The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.

About Popup Alarm

Popup Alarm watches every tab in the background. When something it cares about appears — a popup, a modal overlay, a native JavaScript dialog, a phrase you said you want to know about, a CSS element you said you want to track, or a known visual pattern — it rings an audible alarm, fires a system notification, and (optionally) sends a push to your phone. Everything runs locally; nothing leaves your browser unless you turn on push or telemetry.
