Select any text on a webpage and PolyglotSelect automatically detects the source language and translates it into up to 4 target languages at once, side by side. No copy-pasting into another tab, no switching windows. This feature is still under development. In the "When to translate on selection" setting on the extension's interface, choosing "Automatic" translates everything you select right away, which can quickly use up your daily translation quota. We recommend "Hold Shift" instead — it only translates when you actually hold Shift while selecting, so you don't waste your quota. You can also select "Hold Ctrl" in settings, which works the same way, or you can use the "Show a translation button" feature, which only translates when you click it — saving your quota just as effectively." PRIVACY PolyglotSelect only sends the text you select to your chosen translation provider. No browsing history is collected or stored.
