About Playdo
Play with the internet and make every website yours.
Open Playdo (⌘⇧P on Mac, Ctrl+Shift+P elsewhere), say what you want, and it happens on the page you're on:
• "Make this page a clean, compact dark mode"
• "Turn this list into a table sorted by price"
• "Add a private notes box under every profile"
• "Hide everything except the feed"
Every change is a play. Plays load before the page paints, so you never see the original flash by, and they come back every time you visit.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Restyle, rearrange, add, hide or rework any part of a page by describing it.
• Point at specific elements with the picker and say what to do with them.
• Run, stop, edit, undo or delete any play at any time.
• Start from built-in plays: a pricing card on landing pages, private notes on LinkedIn profiles, a feed-only view, an airy Hacker News, and more.
• Build up a taste profile of the kind of changes you like, so Playdo can suggest similar ones elsewhere.
• Move to a new browser with your restore key and pick up your plays and notes.
INVITE ONLY, FOR NOW
Playdo is in beta and invite-only. You need a code from a member to join, and every member gets invites to share. No email or password: there's no account to make.
YOUR DATA
• Your messages and the page you're on are sent to Playdo's AI only when you send a message. Nothing is sent in the background.
• While Playdo is in beta, the "plays" you create and the initial prompts that made them are shared with us to improve Playdo.
• Your notes, plays and name are backed up encrypted, so only your restore key can read the backup (which we don't have access to).

SETUP
Chrome needs one switch for extensions that run your own scripts: open chrome://extensions, find Playdo, click Details and turn on "Allow User Scripts". Playdo opens that page for you when you install it.
Requires Chrome 138 or newer.
