About Pinter
Pinter takes the ads out of Pinterest, along with anything else you'd rather not see, so your feed closes up as if they had never been there.
Choose what to hide:
• Ads and promoted Pins (on from the start)
• Video and idea Pins, or keep them and stop them playing
• Shoppable Pins with prices and shop links
• AI and AI-modified images that Pinterest has flagged (some will slip through)
• Pins containing words you list, matched against the title, description, alt text, website and pinner
• The strip of suggested searches above results
How it works
Pinter filters the data Pinterest sends to the page before the page lays it out, so the grid stays tidy and Pinterest's own infinite scroll keeps working. Change a setting from the toolbar button or the panel on Pinterest itself, then press Save and reload. Until you reload, pins that will be hidden are marked on the page. "See what was blocked" shows every pin Pinter removed and why, so you can check nothing was hidden by mistake.
Privacy
Pinter only runs on pinterest.com. It has no account and doesn't change your Pinterest settings. Your choices are saved in Chrome on your computer. When you press Save and reload, Pinter sends your filter choices, blocked words and Pinterest username to our analytics (Aptabase, hosted in the EU), and it sends an event when it's installed or updated. It never sends the pins you see, your searches or your browsing history, and nothing is used for advertising. Details: https://www.pinxapp.com/privacy#pinter
