About Pin Shuffler
Pin Shuffler is a Chrome extension that reorders and randomizes the pins on any Pinterest board you own, all with one click. If you don't love the new order, Undo brings back exactly what you had.
You wanted a mood board, but yours looks like a timeline. Pinterest keeps pins in a fixed order, the order you saved them in or wherever you last dragged them, so your newest saves always sit at the top and each themed batch of pins stays in its own clump. The only manual fix is dragging pins around one at a time in Organize mode, which is fine for a small board and a real chore for a big one. Pin Shuffler mixes the whole board together for a more cohesive look and saves the new pin order right back to your account, so it's there waiting for you everywhere you're signed in.
GOOD FOR
- Giving your latest saves a chance to blend in, instead of hogging the top of the board
- Vision boards and mood boards that could use a shuffle so they feel new again
- Big boards (100-500+ pins) that have outgrown moving pins by hand
- Rediscovering pins you saved a while ago and forgot were even there
HOW IT WORKS
Open a board you own on Pinterest, click the Pin Shuffler toolbar icon, then click Shuffle My Board
Pin Shuffler takes you into Organize mode and brings its popup right back up, so it feels like one smooth step, not a detour (if the popup doesn't reopen on its own, just click the toolbar icon again)
It gathers every single pin on the board first, not just what's on screen, so nothing gets left behind, then shuffles it into a random new order and saves it back, with a progress bar to keep you posted
A full shuffle can take a minute or two, depending on the size of your board. Most of that time is Pinterest's own servers doing their thing, not something we can speed up. Keep the popup open and stay on the Pinterest tab until it finishes
Your board refreshes automatically so you can see the new look right away
Miss the old order? Click Undo Last Shuffle and it comes right back. Undo shows up on the board you just shuffled, and it's good for one shuffle, then it clears
PRIVACY
Pin Shuffler doesn't collect data, run analytics, or run any servers of its own. The only site it ever talks to is pinterest.com. To make Undo work, it remembers your board's order before and after a shuffle, plus that board's ID number, kept right on your own device and deleted as soon as you Undo. It also keeps a tiny marker so a one-time notice isn't repeated. Nothing is ever sent anywhere, sold, or shared. Full privacy policy: https://innovaritas.com/privacy/pin-shuffler
