PiKVM Watcher

Never miss a message again when working remotely via PiKVM. PiKVM Watcher is a powerful utility designed for IT professionals and remote workers who manage systems via PiKVM. It automatically monitors your active PiKVM stream for important on-screen events—like Microsoft Teams notifications, "Mentioned you" alerts, or chat bubbles—using advanced Optical Character Recognition (OCR) directly in your browser. When a notification is detected on the remote screen, PiKVM Watcher instantly alerts you on your local machine. KEY FEATURES: - 👁️ Real-Time Monitoring: Watches your PiKVM browser tab for specific keywords (e.g., "Microsoft Teams", "New Message"). - 🔔 Instant Alerts: Sends a Chrome notification immediately when a keyword is detected. - 📱 Mobile Forwarding: Forward alerts to Slack, Discord, or Microsoft Teams to get push notifications on your phone (Pro feature). - ⚡ Low Latency: Optimized for performance with adjustable polling intervals. - 🔒 Privacy First: specialized OCR runs locally within the extension to detect text. PERFECT FOR: - IT Admins monitoring servers who need to step away from their desk. - Remote employees using PiKVM who want to be alerted of urgent work messages. - Anyone managing remote machines who can't stare at the screen 24/7. Supports both PiKVM V3 and V4, as well as generic KVM-over-IP solutions viewed in a browser. SETUP IN 30 SECONDS: 1. Install the extension. 2. Open your PiKVM stream in a tab. 3. Click "Start watching". You're done! Stay connected to your remote environment, even when you aren't looking.
