The Chrome Web Store rounds user counts down to the leading digit, so the user line moves in steps. The ratings count is exact and is the better signal of real adoption.
About PhraseShelf — Text Expander & Templates
PhraseShelf saves reusable text and templates in your browser, then lets you insert them into supported website editors with a shortcut or an invoked picker.
Create snippets for replies, signatures, and other writing you use often. Organize them with folders, tags, favorites, and search. Type a saved semicolon shortcut such as ;sig followed by Space in an eligible editor, or open the search picker. You can also copy prepared text when direct insertion is unavailable.
Templates can include formatted text, fill-in fields, dates, reusable blocks, conditions, and cursor placement. Choose current-site or all-sites access when you want website expansion, and pause or exclude sites at any time.
Your library, settings, drafts, revisions, and trash stay in this browser profile. PhraseShelf needs no account and has no cloud sync, ads, analytics, or application backend. Export JSON or readable Markdown backups, optionally password-encrypt a JSON export, and preview an import before applying it. The active library itself is not encrypted; keep an independent backup.
PhraseShelf is free. An optional Support button opens a separate NOWPayments page for voluntary crypto tips; tips do not unlock features. Websites can read text that you deliberately insert into their editors. Some browser-protected pages and editors do not support insertion.
For help, use the bundled Help & practice page and the Chrome Web Store support hub when available.
